Hi Martin,

It's been a while since we last were in touch.
I was prowling around on the A-26 site for the first time in a long time and found the F7F page.
I saw you had used some photos I sent to the Scale Firebombers site.
Don't worry, I'm not about to jump down your throat, in fact I'm going to give you permission to use them and give you some newer scans that are larger and cleaner than the originals.
The pics were taken by Warner E. Stewart back when he was working for Fred Arnberg and later with S.V. Flying Service.
I was told the White one in the hangar (N7655C Tanker 20) was the first F7F to be equipped with a tank, I can't verify that, but that's what I was told.
They came to me from a friend that used to work with Warner Stewart back some years ago, he loaned them to me and I did the first set of scans you have.
Later he brought them back and I was able to rescan them and get much better results.

If you decide to use them could you please credit:  Photos by Warner E. Stewart from the Bill Bailey Collection.

Hope all's well with you & yours.

Cheers,
Bill Bailey
