Regarding the four photos below, which were taken in '86 when she arrived at Robins:

My name is Mike Rowland and I’m the curator at the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, USA. You have an amazing website with a great collection of photos and information about the A-26. Thank you for sharing.

I’m contacting you to ask for your help identifying our A-26. It is marked as A-26C 44-35732 but an enthusiast pointed out that our aircraft has a “flat-top” canopy and the 44-35732 serial number is for a “bubble-top” aircraft. Attached are some photos of the aircraft as it appeared when it arrived at Robins AFB in late 1985. For some reason, someone stenciled the 44-35732 serial number. I looked through your photos of fire bomber A-26s but did not see a ready match.

I appreciate any insight you can provide and look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.

Mike
