I had a recent mail ( Oct 2011 ) from jack, who owns "874"
Hello, I dont know if you remember me but I own N74874. Thanks
for all the good info. I never took the time to look all this stuff up, just worked on it until 08 when Darcy moved
to Thailand. It is in license, and flew 3 times this year. Give me a call anytime, 415 302 0387. Forgot your name.
Thanks Jack Bazler
The aircraft listed below has received extensive work over the
past 7 years and is now available for sale.
This Douglas A-26 Invader is located at the airport in Santa
Rosa, California (STS). It is the product of a nine-year restoration by the owner, Jack Bazler. Jack has previously restored
several BT-13 aircraft, then a Beech Twin Bonanza which he still owns and flies. The attention to detail and general cleanliness
of the restoration will be evident in the photos.
This plane has flown and will again soon after the propellers come
back from the shop and are put back on. Note the dual controls in the photos of the cockpit.
WWW.a-26.com, is where you can find info on my plane. Darcy Hankins and I did a thorough once over of N74874, complete with engines
that were disassembled, inspected, updated, tested, and flown for over 20hours.. This plane is advertised in Trade A
Plane for sale at $400,000. A fine flyer that can be operated with confidence.
He and I worked on it
for 7 years off and on and now my journey will turn in other directions. He is the finest, efficient and knowledgable
and one fine fellow to work with.
Thank you for your interest
in this wonderful aircraft and educating those who are interested.
Jack Bazler
